Michel Landi is one of the greatest French’s posters designer. There are more than 3000 creations made throughout his career. A “César” even crowned one of his works for Arthur Joffé’s movie "Harem". Jean-Pierre Mattei makes us discover this particular work which must combine the artistic aspect of the poster and the commercial, promotional aspect, which must convince the public to go to the theatre.
Michel Landi est un des plus grands affichistes français. Il en est à plus de 3000 créations réalisées tout au long de sa carrière. Un César a même couronné une de ses ouvres pour le film d’Arthur Joffé « Harem ». Jean-Pierre Mattei nous fait découvrir ce travail particulier qui doit faire combiner l’aspect artistique de l’affiche et l’aspect commercial, promotionnel, qui doit convaincre le public de se rendre dans la salle de cinéma ou de spectacle.
